It has been only 2 weeks since my surgery, but I am ecstatic about my results so far. It is amazing the difference I can already see and I can't wait for the months to come. All of the staff have been great and have made me comfortable (even though it's an uncomfortable situation :)). Anyway, just wanted to say "Thanks" to all of you! I was very anxious about getting a breast augmentation surgery because of the terrible stories that you hear so when my friend from Tulsa recommended Dr.Ratliff and how happy she was with the results I booked my ticket and flew over Tulsa instead of having it done here in Hawaii.

The center looked really cute (looks like a house not a hospital) and the staff made me feel comfortable right away. I then met with Dr Ratliff, he was very nice and knowledgeable and listened to me and what I was looking for before giving me great advises about the size of the implants and more. All my fears went away after talking to him and I got very excited about my surgery.

The next morning the friendly staff prepared me for the surgery, made sure I wasn't cold with a warm electric blanket over me and next thing I knew I woke up with my brand new breasts. The pain and discomfort was not as bad as I thought and I actually was on my feet 2 days later extremely happy!!!I

Went back to Hawaii 8 days after the surgery and that same great staff called me 2 weeks later to follow up on my surgery to make sure I was OK. I am so glad I did it and Tulsa is one of the cutest places I have seen on the Mainland. "Choosing Dr. Ratliff was the easy part. Deciding to have the surgery was harder.

I wanted to do (breast augmentation) for a long time, but I was fearful about the surgery itself.

There have been quite a few women here in my town who have used Dr. Ratliff and they have all had good things to say about his…There was one person here who was sort of my cheerleader saying, “you can do this.”

I was scared to death of having the surgery when I went in (for my consultation). My husband went with me. He was real supportive. I was sort of like, I can’t even believe I’m doing this.

Dr. Ratliff and his staff set me at ease right away. It was a good experience all the way around. They were really informative and helped me make decisions as far as the size I wanted to be. I didn’t want to go real big, I just wanted to be able to pick out a swimsuit and feel good in it. I wanted my clothes to fit better and to feel better about it.

The same nurse was with me every visit, even in surgery so we formed a sort of bond, and having that relationship really made me feel better.

The day of surgery, my surgery was delayed, and I’m going to be real honest with you, if they had said let’s do it another time, I’d have walked out. But they didn’t! They took me back to surgery and everybody was just really great.

I talked with this one nurse. I’m a Christian and I kept thinking about how I was changing the way God made me and maybe that wasn’t right. But this nurse, she is a Christian too and she had had it done, so that made me feel more comfortable with my decision.

The next thing I knew, I was waking up after surgery!

My husband was wonderful during my recovery, changing bandages and other things. I went back in for a checkup one week after surgery and Dr. Ratliff was really happy with the results. And so was I. About three-weeks out, everything started sort of waking up, the nerve endings, and (my breasts) were real tender…At the six-week checkup, Dr. Ratliff showed me (how to care for my breasts) so they didn’t hurt and didn’t feel hard.

A month later, they felt completely natural and normal. They feel like me. They are a perfect fit. I’m sort of petite, so the look I was going for wasn’t having breast that were the first thing you notice about me. That wasn’t the look I was going for at all.

People who know I had the surgery can tell there is something different, but I don’t think that people who don’t know I’ve had the surgery would ever think I have had the surgery. It’s just very natural.

This is the first year ever that I am totally excited about going to buy a new bathing suit!

The results are perfect. I have absolutely no regrets and would recommend Dr. Ratliff and the entire staff to anyone thinking of having this procedure done."

“It was honestly a phenomenal experience … and I am not a very good patient.

I’ve never done anything like that before in my life, but I would do it all again if I could do it with them.

You can tell they are all professional at what they do. They really have it all together. They understand exactly what their job is and they do it very well.

Needles, that’s the one thing that usually counts me out, but when they put the IV in and I didn’t hardly feel it, I thought, this is going to be OK!

They really laid everything out for me, what was going to happen when, step-by-step, all the way up to six months out. And everything happened just exactly like they said it would.

I had my surgery Saturday, by Sunday I was up and walking around. They called to check on me on Sunday and then again on Monday. By Wednesday, I was back at work. Everything they said would happen would happen.

This experience has been a physical, emotional, and mental change for me. The image you always wanted of yourself and what you want people to see, now I know they do. I have had outstanding results and I am right at 5 months post-op. I feel better about myself, I look better, people notice and they compliment. They might not exactly know what is different about me, but they comment on how great I look and if I've done something different!!! It's a fantastic feeling.

I set up the surgery that day. It was really easy – nothing to it!

Before the surgery they took my medical history, and they required a mammogram, they just made sure I was OK. They told me exactly what I needed to know before the surgery and after the surgery. They were very thorough…

As a matter of fact, it’s the only surgery I’ve ever had where I didn’t throw up from the anesthesia. I told the anesthesiologist I get sick from (the anesthesia), and she said, “You’ve never had mine before.” And she was right. I didn’t get sick. She really knows what she's doing.

Recovery was a lot easier than I expected. Within three days I was feeling better and almost back to myself again.

“Several of my friends had their surgery (breast augmentations) through Dr. Ratliff, and I liked their results!

When I went in for my initial consultation, I explained to Dr. Ratliff that I wanted change, but didn’t want to be way OBVIOUS. He gave me some information on implants, and explained why he thought that would be what I wanted. While I was there, I had some skin that hung over a previous surgery scar, and it always bothered me, so I asked him about a tummy tuck. He said, “I can fix that for you, not a problem!”

I knew (with the breast augmentation) that I did not want to be overwhelming, but I did want to be different.

Dr. Ratliff gave me enough information in the initial consultation and I began to research the surgeries. I received a packet from Dr. Ratliff’s office that explained what to expect, before, during, and after the surgeries that I was going to have. For two months, I read and read and read. These are life altering surgeries, and I wanted to make sure that I was making the right decision.

Following the surgery, I only missed 1 week of work. I took my brace off for 4 hours, to shop for a bathing suit, and I shouldn’t have done that. That was a minor set back, which a quick visit to PSC took care of, and I was on the road to recovery, once again. I did everything Dr. Ratliff said to do, and even for a longer period of time.

And the results?

It is perfect…. just great, awesome. It is amazing that when you see an imperfection in yourself, and you have the ability to change it, how good you truly feel about yourself now! I would do it again in a heartbeat!! The tummy tuck, is not noticeable to other people, but it is to me, and that makes all the difference in my self esteem!

I love the staff and the people here at PSC of Tulsa, I have and will keep referring friends to Dr. Ratliff. The man knows what he is doing, and I am walking proof!

I am very proud of what he has done for me. I want people to see the difference. People notice that something is different about me, but they don’t know exactly what is different. They say, “You look good.” And I just smile and say, “thank you.”
